IGNITE Business Startup Accelerator
IGNITE is for people in Glasgow who may not have ready access to business support and resources and who want to know more about how business works or how they can take their business ideas forward.
The free programme is aimed at women and people from ethnic minority groups who live in Glasgow and are interested in learning about business and entrepreneurship.
The programme is being offered by Glasgow City Innovation District (GCID) and Glasgow Riverside Innovation District (GRID) in partnership with national training provider Dechomai.
The University of Glasgow, which leads on GRID, and University of Strathclyde, the lead institution within GCID, are partnering on this social innovation project with support from Glasgow City Council and UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
Course Outline
IGNITE will explore the basics of entrepreneurship in an open, friendly environment. The programme and its experienced facilitators will help build your network and increase your networking opportunities. Ignite will provide coaching, mentorship and peer to peer support.

IGNITE will be take place in central Glasgow at a location to be confirmed nearer the date.
